Job Title: International Sales Manager (Southern Europe)
Location: Home Based, United Kingdom
Reports to: European Sales Director
Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus (20%) + Car Allowance + Health Insurance
**In order to be considered for this position you must have experience of direct sales experience into the retail channel, ideally with food and beverage products. You must also be able to speak Spanish, Portuguese or Greek as well as being fluent in English**
Oliver Carol Recruitment is working in partnership with a UK based FMCG distributor who service European retailers through direct sales activity and distributor relations.
Having experienced a significant increase in turnover within the region over the past 12 months, the business is looking to secure a hungry, driven and ambitious sales professional to oversee parts of southern Europe - one of its fastest growing geographies. There is plenty of immediate opportunity to deliver sales as well as make a name for yourself and grow the region.
In this position we are looking for you to be able to secure new business as well as increase business through excellent account management. You will be a natural negotiator, personable and enjoy networking. If you are someone who enjoys closing the deal and delivering then this could be a fantastic opportunity for you.
In this position we are not looking for a 'corporate salespersons' who would require an army immediately available to them in order to get the job done. You will be a natural hunter/ gatherer, will thrive on establishing and maintaining excellent customer relations and ultimately, be a natural sales person; able to deliver results that stick!
In order to be considered for this position you will have commercial experience from either working within sales in the food industry or sales into areas of southern Europe. This is a critical part of the position as understanding the cultural attitudes towards commercial and buying activities is a must-have based upon our briefing.
This position will see you travelling often throughout Europe to establish new relations and maintain existing ones. The business has outgrown its competitors due to the high touch, close proximity model it has deployed and as such this means lots of in-person meetings and networking.
