Title: Senior Sales Executive
Location: Remote, USA - ideally near high volume airport due to travel requirements
Salary: Base: $80,000 - $100,000 ($170,000 - $200,000+ OTE Y1) + Uncapped Commission + Medical + Team Bonus

Upon joining the organization you will go through a rigorous six-week training period which will be followed by several weeks of shadowing successful colleagues. You will be given everything needed to be successful in this role and will be rewarded with an outstanding first-year OTE of c$170,000 - $200,000+. As you develop in the role and the business the expectation is that you will increase your OTE and it is not uncommon that take home is above $300,000 after three years!
The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers. You will be hungry, driven, and determined to succeed. If you are someone who relies on BDR or SDR teams for sales leads and opportunities, then this is not the right role for you.
This position is a full-time, remote-based position and there is an expectation that you will be traveling up to 70% of your time - think a minimum of 2/3 nights away from home each week. This element of the sales formula is what has allowed our Client to become number one in its space and is what will help keep them there. This is a hard prerequisite so if this isn't feasible for you then we won't be able to consider your candidacy.
This is a quota-carrying, outside sales position with a focus on producing sales in small to mid-sized manufacturing companies within the US, and it is essential you demonstrate several years of prospecting, negotiating, and deal closure experience in a B2B sales capacity.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial lead generation, and opportunity, to negotiation and closure.
- Meet with potential sales clients to determine business needs.
- Stay current with industry-specific trends and competitors.
- Research, and recommend prospects for new business opportunities, develop those opportunities, and expand customer relationships.
- Generate new business sales within the manufacturing sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects and clients.
- Develop professional networks within the business sector.
- Identify improvements and recommend sales strategies to increase sales.
- Collect, and analyze information and prepare data and sales reports.
- Attend training workshops, meetings, and events to increase professional learning and development.
Environmental Adaptability
- Ability to work in an office, or home office environment and/or a variety of office type settings.
- Up to 70% travel (think 2/3 nights regularly a week away from home) within designated region covering multiple states
Qualifications
- Minimum two years' quota carrying outside sales experience
- Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PPT)
- Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present and control a room
- Emotionally and socially intelligent
- Ability to successfully navigate the entire sales cycle from prospecting new customers, booking meetings, product demonstrations, price negotiations, closing, and service.
Education/Experience
- BA or BS in engineering, sales, operations, or business management preferred, but not essential.
- A minimum of two years experience in outside B2B sales, preferably in the food and beverage, consumer packing goods (CPG) sector, component or parts, or selling SaaS.
- Experience with B2B clients, preferably manufacturers.
