Title: Operational Excellence Coach
Location: Remote - USA (This is a traveling position across North America)
Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 plus bonus (15%), full travel expenses, healthcare, 401k
We are looking for CI and Opex disruptors who love to build and encourage frontline teams to bring about outstanding results. If you love people, love building and developing continuous improvement cultures, and want to work with one of the most disruptive productivity providers in the manufacturing sector, then this OPEX Coach position is for you!
Your office will be the factory floor where you’ll work with multi-function teams to analyze the production, monitor waste, and gather performance data to prioritize, plan, and action process improvements. You will do this by engaging and empowering line operatives and giving them the opportunity, power, and voice to report and solve issues in real-time. Your greatest challenge in this role will be to influence at all levels to either establish or develop a CI culture, but you will relish that opportunity because you will be a natural people person who loves seeing others flourish in their roles.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has experience within the fast-paced atmosphere of a food or CPG manufacturing facility but this is not essential. You will have experience within a manufacturing environment where you have coached and influenced others. You will also have a good understanding, experience, and certifications in CI tools, techniques, and training. A yellow below or above in Lean Six Sigma is useful but not essential.
If your idea of continuous improvement culture shaping is spreadsheet formulas with classroom teaching, then this isn’t the role for you. We want someone excited at the prospect of bringing real change and championing the workforce to deliver fantastic operational performance results.
