We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our client's dynamic team in St. Louis. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading project teams and ensuring the successful execution of projects in the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) industry. Responsibilities:
- Lead colleagues in project teams, including Project Engineers, Site Leads, CAD Designers, fabrication personnel, subcontractor field crews, and support teams through all project phases to ensure customer requirements and expectations are met and any potential issues are approached proactively.
- Coordinate and direct projects to ensure successful execution and start-up.
- Analyze resource and equipment needs to plan project activities.
- Prepare budgets, bids, change orders, and contracts as well as direct the negotiation of contracts.
- Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, reviewing project financials to ensure targets are being met, approving expenditures, enforcing policies and procedures, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
- Conduct meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project action item lists and schedules.
- Support and manage P&ID, mechanical drawings, installation, and technical specification documents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Three to five (3-5) years of equivalent relatable experience.
- Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
- Food, beverage, and personal care project management experience in engineering, construction, and utilities management.
- Three to five (3-5) years or more proven experience leading large projects (>$3 million), coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- More than three (3) years of experience in sanitary process design and applications preferred.
- Proficiency with utilized software and processes including MS Office Suite, PIDs, PFDs, Project Management, Process Execution, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
